The man also stole the restaurant's safe, the website reported.

Despite the Hamburglar nickname -- associated with the McDonald's hamburger chain -- the brazen burger maker actually broke into a Wendy's in Jensen Beach on Sunday, according to the Martin County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office said the man used a brick to smash in a door, then turned on the oven to cook his meal, TCPalm reported. He also tried to break into a restaurant in downtown Jensen Beach, WPEC reported.

The man also tried to break into a nearby gas station, WPBF reported.

“I think he was drunk,” Vinay Solanki, the manager of the gas station, told the television station.

The man has a distinctive tattoo on his left upper arm, according to the Sheriff' Office. He is described as a heavy-set man in his mid-30s with facial hair and is about 6 feet tall, TCPalm reported.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
