So much for that oft-given advice about avoiding anonymous Internet comments: Two Michigan football fans say they have the comments section of ESPN.com to thank for their recent marriage.

According to BuzzFeed, Kate Queram and Brandon Wagoner – aka bleu_girl_04 and AAWolv, respectively – began chatting on the site in January 2012.

"I liked him right away," Queram, who graduated from Michigan in 2004 and later moved to North Carolina, told BuzzFeed. "He was funny and flirty and he could spell, and he was, of course, a Michigan fan. He made me laugh, and every time I logged on, I hoped he would be there."

Now, the two live together in Greensboro, North Carolina, where Queram is a reporter and Wagoner works at B/E Aerospace, according to the Greensboro News & Record. They were married last month in Middleton, Wisconsin, where Queram grew up.

ESPN even filmed the wedding and featured the couple in a post on the site

"I will be forever grateful to that website," Queram told BuzzFeed.
