Who would have guessed that this intimidating jaguar is really just a big ol' softie?

Instagram user @bofokaram uploaded footage on Friday of a man standing at an animal sanctuary in Mexico when, suddenly, the jaguar creeps up from behind.

Much to the jaguar’s surprise, the man spins around and scares the living daylights out of the animal. The jaguar then jumps onto a ledge, sticks his face out toward the man with its jaw open and surprisingly kisses the man over and over again.

The viral video has been viewed more than 79,000 times.

According to the New York Daily News, Eduaro Serio and his organization, the Black Jaguar-White Tiger Foundation, saved the animal, who was named after Superman.
