An unusual incident in a New Orleans parking garage has left one man dead, and investigators searching for answers.
Eyewitnesses told WGNO that the man worked the night shift at Poydras Center as a parking garage attendant and was likely on his way home when the incident occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m.
The man was driving a blue Nissan pickup truck that crashed through concrete and metal barriers and a glass window, then fell several stories before landing on the ground.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
