A man woke up to find a stranger taking a bath in his tub, he told police.
Robin Theiss, 48, who police said is homeless, was arrested late Monday by Cecil Township police.
According to the Observer-Reporter, the man told police that he tried unsuccessfully to open the bathroom door after awakening to the sound of running water.
He heard a woman say, "I'm in here."
The woman later wrapped herself in a towel and ran away, the man told police.
Officers found Theiss walking in the neighborhood a short time later.
Police said the woman also broke into another nearby home, where she ate food that had been in the refrigerator and left macaroni and cheese on the counter, according to the Observer-Reporter.
Theiss was known to police because of an incident on Friday in which a local auto shop owner told investigators that she had taken a pickup truck, put about 50 miles on it and returned it.
Police also said Theiss is seen on surveillance video trying to set fire to tires.
Theiss is charged with two counts of burglary, theft, loitering and prowling at night in connection with the incidents at the homes. She was facing charges of theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle, receiving stolen property, attempted arson and criminal trespass for the incident at the garage.
