The boys running the stand that afternoon were between the ages of 9 and 13 years old, KOKI-TV reported.

Officials said the thief took about $100 from the boys. They’d been operating the stand for a couple of days.

The suspect also took a cellphone from one of the children.

“As long as we’re OK, it’s good. But we’re all depressed that it happened,” said Isaiah, one of the boys running the stand.

Police arrested Henry Cozart III on Aug. 14 in connection to the robbery.

GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up for the boys.
