A mother’s worst nightmare came true when she discovered that one of her best friends had allegedly stolen her 9-year-old daughter’s photos from Facebook and posted them on a child porn website.
Christopher Madill, 32, of Phoenix, was arrested on Jan. 23 on five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the KTLA report.
Ashley Williams was informed of the alleged criminal actions involving her daughter when she received a call from Homeland Security. Investigators told Williams that Madill had allegedly taken 83 photos of her daughter from Facebook and posted them on a child porn site in Russia that is monitored by the agency.
Williams said she was also informed that Madill bragged on the website that he was the girl’s father, and that he “got to molest her every day.”
Investigators believe that photos were used as trade so Madill could obtain images of child pornography.
Madill is being held on $100,000 bond at the Lower Buckeye Jail in Maricopa County while awaiting his arraignment date, scheduled for Feb. 9.
