To commemorate the election of America's 45th president on Tuesday, rideshare company Lyft will offer a 45 percent discount on one ride between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. On Election Day in 20 markets, including Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Washington, D.C., according to a news release from Lyft and technology website The Verge.

If you're new to Lyft, the company is also offering the code NOVEMBER8TH to receive $5 off your first 10 rides.

Lyft said that those in participating markets can access the promotion through the "Deal of the Week" email they receive Sunday night.

Uber, another popular rideshare company, will offer $20 off the first ride for new users with the code VOTETODAY.  Existing users can take advantage of Uber's partnership with Google and use the app to find their polling stations by entering the address where they're registered to vote.

Car-sharing network Zipcar said it will make over 7,000 vehicles free for members to use for carpooling to polls from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m Tuesday in all markets where it is available.
