Patients who suffer from seizure disorders may have another treatment available to them.

Some medical cannabis providers started selling a type of low-THC cannabis oil called "Haleigh's Hope" on Monday, WFOR reported.

It is a type of anti-seizure treatment named after Haliegh Cox, a child from Georgia who suffers from Lennon-Gastaut syndrome.

Haliegh had suffered from hundreds of seizures a day and was being treated by five different medications, CNN reported.

That was until her parents found out about a form of medical marijuana used to treat her condition. She started a treatment of cannabis oil, four times a day and once at night.
