Months after actress Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli were among the dozens of people charged in the college admissions scandal, their daughters are speaking publicly for the first time on social media.
E! News reported that Loughlin's oldest daughter, Isabella Rose Giannulli, 20, made an Instagram post for her mom's 55th birthday. It's her first post on the account since January.
"Happy birthday mama," Bella Giannulli captioned a black and white photo of the two. "I love you."
Olivia Jade Giannulli, 19, commented, "My people" with a red heart emoji. A day later, she posted a photo of herself as a baby in her mother's arms.
"One day late," she captioned the post. "Happy birthday. i love you so much."
It was Olivia Jade Giannulli's first post on her Instagram account since February. Her sister commented on the post with a red heart emoji.
CNN reported Loughlin and her husband pleaded not guilty in the college admission scandal, specifically to charges of conspiracy to commit fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Prosecutors say the couple paid $500,000 to a fake charity to get their children admitted to the University of Southern California by way of being on the crew team. They were never part of the team.
