"Yeah, it's a great day for a run so, it's too wet to wear a shirt," Renoe responded. "I love running in the rain and I'm also single."

The 28-second long interaction caught the attention of more than one million people in just 12 hours, according to WGN TV.

On Monday morning, Renoe, a Colorado resident, appeared on WGN TV to discuss his experience with anchors Pat Tomasulo and Paul Konrad.

"I came back from that run figuring a few people would get a little giggle out of it or something," he said. "I come back and it already had 24,000 views by the time I got home from my run."

Since the video went viral, Renoe said he had gotten more than 900 Facebook friend requests.
