Livin' La Vida Loca: '90s pop star mansion up for grabs

The former Miami mansion of international pop star Ricky Martin is on the market for a cool $21 million after trading hands a few times since he sold the waterfront estate in 2005.

Martin, whose real name is Enrique Morales, owned the 1931 home for four years. Its current owner, Alan Steremberg, is a computer genius who helped create Weather Underground and lives in San Francisco where he “rollerblades to work.”

The Jills, Coldwell Banker's top sales team for four years running, listed the home at 5030 North Bay Road. The two-story, 8,700-square-foot Mediterranean estate, featuring 140 feet of waterfront includes two private guest houses. It was initially owned by entrepreneur Carl Fisher.

The estate sits on a sprawling 33,960-square-foot lot and has unobstructed views of the bay and downtown Miami.

“This magnificent estate is such a special property,” said Jill Eber of The Jills. “It embodies the perfect combination of timeless architecture, history, and breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami. The most majestic banyan trees adorn the property.”

Martin bought the home for a recorded $6.4 million. He sold it in 2005 for $10.6 million.
