Historical texts and a disco ball?  They’re two items that you wouldn’t think to put together, but The Library of Congress will be the site of a disco in a few weeks.

Gloria Gaynor, whose disco hit "I Will Survive" was added to the National Recording Registry last year, will headline the library's "Bibliodiscotheque," The Washington Post reported.

The "Bibliodiscotheque" will feature lectures, films and events that will culminate with a disco party in the Great Hall in the Jefferson Building on May 6.

All of the events are free but tickets are needed. They will be available starting at 10 a.m. Thursday.
