Now that the Kansas City Royals are heading to the World Series, a war of words has come to light between libraries in Kansas City and Toronto as the American League Championship Series was decided.

It all started on Oct. 20, when the Kansas City library posted #bookspinepoetry message to the Toronto library on Twitter.

Using book spines, they sent a message to the Blue Jays, their fans and the library that said, "Canada/Sorry You Lost/ What Bluebirds Do."

The next day, Toronto fired back, saying "Warning/Kansas City/It Ain't Over, Till It's Over."

The two battled back and forth until the Royals won Game 6 Friday.

The Royals will take on the New York Mets, and it appears the book battle will continue, with the New York Public Library supporting its hometown team.
