"[The letter said] for me to let my husband know they wanted to stick to traditional methods of pickup in car line," Melissa said.

The school district superintendent told WCAU that school officials were concerned for the students' safety since the riding mower was being driven during a busy time of the day when there was a lot of traffic.

While disappointed, the Malloy’s will comply with the request.
