A Las Vegas bar and concert venue is apologizing after an employee put out a sign reading: “I like my beer like I like my violence: Domestic.”

On Facebook, a user posted a photo this week of the sign, calling it humorless and tasteless.

The venue posted a statement to its Facebook page on Friday:

The Beauty Bar said the employee who wrote the message on the sign has been suspended pending further investigation.

According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, one in four women and one in seven men age 18 and older in the United States have been victims of severe physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime.
