Comedian Larry David will receive $5,000 for "heckling" Donald Trump during the Republican presidential candidate's "Saturday Night Live" monologue this weekend, a political group said Sunday.

In the scripted bit, David, who had reprised his role as Bernie Sanders in the show's cold open, yelled, "You're a racist" as Trump finished his monologue with impersonators Taran Killam and Darrell Hammond.

"It's Larry David," Trump, acting exasperated, announced. "What are you doing, Larry?"

"I heard if I yelled that, they'd give me $5,000," David replied, shrugging.

The gag was referring to Deport Racism PAC's offer of a cash reward to anyone in the audience who yelled, "Trump is a racist" during the broadcast, Time reported.

In a press release issued Sunday, the PAC said it would stand behind the offer.

"Joke or not, the PAC plans to make good on its offer, which was intended for anyone in the 'Saturday Night Live' studio audience who disrupted the show's live broadcast and could be heard by viewers on television yelling, 'Trump is a racist' or 'Deport racism,'" Deport Racism said in a press release.

Deport Racism Campaign Director Luke Montgomery added, "We are excited to reward Larry David with $5,000 cash for 'standing up' to Donald Trump on 'Saturday Night Live' and speaking the truth about his anti-Latino racism, even though he was joking. There’s nothing funny about calling Mexican immigrants rapists, murderers and drug dealers."
