A generous stranger's heartwarming act of kindness for a mother with a sick baby has gone viral.
According to Today, the Australian mother, whose name was not given, was at Canberra Hospital for several days with her 9-week-old son, who was ill. After the baby was discharged, the woman saw a parking ticket on her windshield with a note.
"I saw your car had a parking ticket on it," reads the note, written by a woman identified only as Laura. "I'm sure whatever you are going through at hospital is tough enough, so I have paid for you."
The mom posted a photo of the note Sunday to the Canberra Mums Facebook page, where it has received more than 95,000 likes and 14,000 shares.
"I hope that Laura sees this and knows how much I appreciate her support," the mother wrote. "Thank you so much."
