Emergency crews were called to a county fair in Tennessee Monday after three children fell from their basket on a Ferris wheel and plummeted to the ground.

Witnesses told WCYB that the three girls were rocking the basket when it hit another car, and got stuck upside down.

The oldest of the three is believed to be 16 years old.

They were all alert and talking after the incident before they were transported to area hospitals.

One witness described the scene to WJHL.

"It was like watching water pouring from a glass. They bounced off the metal bridging of the ride and eventually hit the ground," Gregory Lynthacum said.

All rides were shut down until an inspector cleared them to reopen, WJHL reported. The fair, including food booths and games, will remain open.
