Hart, 40, was a passenger in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, which was involved in an accident in Calabasas, California, around 12:45 a.m. Sunday, according to news reports.

The entertainer and the driver of the car, identified as Jared Black, were hospitalized after the accident, ETonline reported. Doctors determined that Hart had fractured his spine in three places.
Hart's wife, Eniko Parrish, told TMZ on Monday that Hart is doing well.

“He’s great,” she said in a video. “He’s going to be just fine. He’s good.”

Investigators determined that alcohol was not a factor in the accident. A news release from the California Highway Patrol said Black lost control of the car after turning from Cold Canyon Road onto Mulholland Highway, ET reported. The Plymouth left the road and rolled over down an embankment.

A third passenger in the car was not injured.
