The CPSC said water can overheat, spray out and burn users; Keuring says it's more likely if the machine is used to make more than two cups in quick succession.

The recalled model was produced before July 2014.  No other versions of the coffee maker are part of the recall.

You can call Keurig at (844)255-7886 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET or on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET.  You can also visit www.keurig.com recall page to get a free repair kit to fix the issue.  You will need the serial number located on the bottom of the machine.
