Two Kentucky teens suspected in a "Bonnie and Clyde"-style multistate crime spree have been captured in Florida, according to The Associated Press.
Sheriff's officials in Grayson County, Kentucky, said Dalton Hayes, 18, and his 13-year-old girlfriend, whom we are not identifying because she is a minor, were arrested early Sunday in Panama City Beach. They were found sleeping in a 2001 Toyota Tundra pickup believed to have been stolen in Henry County, Georgia, police said.
Police say the couple, who likely will face felony charges, may have been involved in a series of home burglaries before taking off in a stolen red pickup and passing off forged checks in Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Police believe the pair ditched the red pickup in Georgia and stole the Toyota Tundra.
