Singer and daytime talk-show host Kelly Clarkson has filed for divorce from Brandon Blackstock, her husband of nearly seven years.

The Blast reported the singer quietly filed in Los Angeles court on June 4, according to documents the tabloid site obtained.

Clarkson married Blackstock in 2013. They are parents to 5-year-old daughter River Rose and 4-year-old son Remington Alexander. Blackstock also has two older children from a previous marriage.

E! News reported that Blackstock and Clarkson met in 2006, when the first "American Idol" winner was rehearsing with Rascal Flatts at the ACMs. At the time, Blackstock was Rascal Flatts' tour manager.

Blackstock was married when they met but divorced when they met again in 2012 at Super Bowl XLVI. It was there that they connected through Narvel Blackstock, who is Brandon Blackstock’s father and was working as Clarkson’s manager.

After 10 months of dating, the two were engaged in December 2012. They married in October 2013.

Since being married, Blackstock has been Clarkson's manager. He is listed as an executive producer on "The Kelly Clarkson Show," Today.com reported.

The Blast reported Clarkson and Blackstock listed their $10 million family home in Los Angeles for sale last month.

Neither Clarkson nor Blackstock has publicly commented on the news.
