Kanye West has made a $2 million gesture to the families and legal funds of some African Americans who have died due to police brutality and racism.

TMZ reported the rapper donated $2 million so far toward the legal costs for the families of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery.

Taylor, an African American woman, was killed March 13 in Louisville, Kentucky, after police officers reportedly shot at her multiple times after executing a search warrant and crashing into her apartment with a battering ram.

Floyd, an African American man, died in Minneapolis on Memorial Day after pleading for air while a white police officer knelt on Floyd’s neck for more than eight minutes, according to cell phone video.

Arbery, an African American man, died at the hands of two white men as he ran through a neighborhood in Brunswick on Feb. 23.

In addition, West has reportedly set up a 529 college plan for Floyd's 6-year-old daughter, Gianna. The education plan will fully cover Gianna's college tuition, CNN reported.

A rep for West also confirmed he is donating to several black-owned businesses in his hometown of Chicago and across the country that have been in crisis and impacted by the current climate, which has been marked by protests, uprisings and violence.
