Secretary of State John Kerry has been fined 50-dollars this week for failing to shovel the snow in front of his Boston-area mansion.
After a blizzard dumped two feet of snow on his city this week, Boston Mayor Martin Walsh vowed to crack down on anyone who left the sidewalks in front of their homes and businesses buried in snow.
He wasn't kidding. (NECN)
The Secretary of State was in Saudi Arabia for the funeral of Saudi King Abdullah at the time the fine was issued to his home in Beacon Hill.
NECN reports that Kerry has professional snow shovelers clear the sidewalk by Thursday morning.
A spokesman for Kerry reports that the former Senator will promptly pay the fine.
