Three people were injured after a beverage cart became loose on an American Airlines flight from Connecticut to Charlotte.

An American Airlines spokeswoman told Channel 9 that the cart got loose Thursday morning during a flight from Bradley Airport. The flight landed in Charlotte at 8:20 a.m. and medical attention was requested.

The cart injured two passengers and a flight attendant.

The car came loose from the front galley area in first class.

American Airlines is having the plane evaluated by maintenance.
