An outbreak of tornadoes across Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska on Monday killed at least one person and pummeled areas with up to 4-inch hail.

The Storm Prediction Center as of 7:30 Monday evening had 60 reports of hail, 10 tornadoes and seven reports of high straight-line winds.

Supercell thunderstorms are ongoing and a threat of severe weather is expected to continue after dark.
