The reptile was seen trying to walk on a conveyor belt at Key West International Airport as passengers waited for their luggage, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

The iguana's slow, but determined attempt to move forward was caught on a Facebook video that has gone viral.

"It’s always exciting at the Key West airport!!" Pony Charvet posted. "Folks your luggage will be out shortly..... SURPRISE!!!"

The video, first posted Saturday, has more than 500 likes and has been shared more than 2,700 times.

The clip was good for a laugh, and the iguana was not harmed, the Sun-Sentinel reported. Laura Thornbrugh, who works for Delta Air Lines as the station manager at Key West International Airport, wrote on Facebook that "I have had to rangle (sic) 1 of the sweet critters upstairs. Good thing the floor was slick, I'm not as fast as I used to be!"
