A driver whose car turned into an ice block in New York Monday can now have the vehicle back from the winter weather.

The car, which was parked next to Lake Erie and was covered in ice because of freezing temperatures Sunday afternoon into Monday, was towed away by a car company Wednesday, according to WGRZ.

The tow crew tugged the car from its stationary parking space and toward a tow truck flatbed.

Part of the ice that encapsulated the car made for a frozen shell when the car’s tires were freed from the ice.

The dark gray Mitsubishi Lancer may need some detailing and an alignment but will be ready for its owner to take on the road soon.
