Thirteen people were hurt early Sunday after gunfire erupted outside a house party in New York City's Brooklyn borough, Reuters reports

According to the New York Police Department, nine people were shot – two in the neck. Four others reported "cuts and scrapes." All 13 victims, which reportedly included men and women ages 19 to 38, likely will survive, police said.

No suspects have been detained, according to Reuters.

"I was on my way to the store," Faylo Alston told the Post. "Everyone laid down on the ground, and when the shooting stopped, everyone got up and ran. Everyone scattered."
