3 hurt as shelves collapse at Party City store

Three people were hurt and seven aisles collapsed inside a Party City store near Boca Raton, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

No one was found under any of the debris or aisles, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office brought in their K-9 unit to assist with search.

Hundreds of products were strewn on the floor after the collapse.

Three people were treated and released with minor injuries.

All employees that were inside the store at the time of the incident have been accounted for, according to Fire Rescue.
