They earned the money for the most part through speaking fees. Bill Clinton alone has given 637 speeches to banks, legal institutions, financial institutions and universities over the past 15 years. An average speaking fee for one engagement was $225,000.
Hillary Clinton has given 92 speeches herself. She once earned $100,000 for a satellite interview.
The Clintons also made money from multiple book deals which are worth millions on their own.
