A tourist at a safari park in Botswana captured an epic wildlife battle on video, with the tour guide declaring it the “best sighting” he’d ever seen.

Roselyne Kerjosse, 60, was with a tour group at Chobe National Park in Botswana in November when the unusual sighting occurred, the Huffington Post reported.

As the video begins, it appears that a honey badger is in mortal danger as a python is coiled around it, The Independent reported. The arrival of a jackal distracts the snake, allowing the honey badger to wriggle free and quickly turn the tables. The honey badger begins to drag the python away to its den, but the jackal, now joined by a second one, battles the honey badger for the prey. The honey badger, outnumbered and likely weakened by the battle with the python, fearlessly defends itself while protecting its prize. By the end of the video, the honey badger has successfully dragged the snake into its den, fighting off the jackals multiple times.

The YouTube video has been viewed more than 1 million times.
