Three teens braved rushing flood waters to save trapped drivers in Kansas City, Missouri.

Matthew and Michael Rich, and their friend JJ Tijerina, braved the currents to save several drivers trapped under an underpass last week, WDAF reported.

The water wasn't just ankle-deep, it rose so high that it hit the chin of 6-foot, 3-inch Matthew and nearly overtook the roof of a stranded truck.

The underpass doesn't drain and every time it rains, the boys say it floods.

The boys ended up pushing cars that were stuck. Michael said he had to lift a red truck to help get it moving in the water, WDAF reported.
