A Mississippi mom-to-be is remembering her husband, who died suddenly just weeks before their daughter’s birth with a touching photo series.

Nicole Bennett of Jackson, Mississippi, told ABC News that her husband, Deonta, died suddenly in January, just two months before her March 25 due date.

“I wanted to do something special because he’s been there for my son since day one,” said Bennett. “It’s memories for my son of his father and for my daughter who will never meet her father, it’s memories for her as well.”

Deonta hoped he could do a maternity shoot with his wife before the baby was born.

Photographer Sidney Conley was able to make his dream come true.

“It brings me to tears, looking at the photos myself,” said Conley.
