Alcohol and binge watching "The Walking Dead" apparently don't mix.
A New Mexico man is behind bars for beating his friend to death, The Cibola Beacon reported.
Damon Perry told police he and his friend were drinking "large amounts of alcohol" when the other man started "to change into a zombie," The Beacon reported.
Perry said the other man began to bite, and that's when he beat him. He said that binge watching "The Walking Dead" on Netflix caused him to react that way.
Perry then left the apartment and started threatening bystanders with a knife, police said.
Police say Perry beat the man with his hands, feet, an electric guitar and a microwave, Mashable reported.
