Gunman's deadly rampage in Alabama

A gunman went on a deadly hooting spree in two neighboring south Alabama towns Tuesday.

Relatives of people who were gunned down in Samson, Ala., walk away after being denied access to their home. The shooter killed 10 people before turning the gun on himself.

Law enforcement officials from across the Alabama investigate one of the crime scenes.

Police investigate the scene in Geneva, Ala. where deputies tried to stop a gunman's rampage. After exchanging gunfire, the man ran to a nearby business and killed himself.

Investigators declined to comment on a motive for the shootings, in which at least four other people were injured, including a child.

Samson Mayor Clay King said he had known the suspect all his life and could not say what triggered the shootings.
