Police believe a group of sovereign citizens may have been trying to take over more than a half dozen homes in south Fulton County, Georgia.
This week, a grand jury indicted Shawn Campbell, Derrick Walters and Kim Ivy Hunt on a slew of charges including burglary.
Police caught on to the group after it took over a home on Red Maple Road in South Fulton County on Jan. 30.

According to a police report, the suspects affixed signs on the homes that read, "This is allodial land/real property/property is Moroccan Empire, this allodial land/real property/property was never part of the State of Georgia or owned by the United States."
Investigators said one of them had a slip of paper with intentions to possibly take over seven other homes in the area.
"I couldn't understand what they were talking about. This is the United States," said Victor Cooper, a neighbor.
Cooper said the group reportedly took over the home next to him on Lake Enclave Way in south Fulton County.
"Just saw the car go back and forth, never talked to them," Cooper said.
According to a police report, while being arrested they told the officer "they are members of the Moroccan Empire with freedom to travel by any mode and that I was kidnapping them."
Even more bizarre, they base all of this on a supposed "treaty from George Washington in the 1780's," according to a report
"I want to encourage all homeowners to be diligent, pay attention to your surrounding, get to know your neighbors so you know when strangers enter the community," said Corroll Driskell, a neighbor who lives near the Red Maple Road property.
