One girl tried to make sure she was comfortable, while another, who is 4 years old, did what her grandmother told her before the seizure: call her mother. Alaysia knew that she needed to contact her mom and used a cellphone picture ID to place the call.

“I love them. I appreciate them,” Williams said. “They get on my nerves sometimes, but I wouldn’t trade them for the world.”

First responders got Williams to the hospital just in time.

Williams is hoping to better regulate her health needs, and also teach her grandchildren to call 911 in an emergency.
