The girls, 12 and 13, had stepped away from their sales set-up but saw one of the teens pulling the wagon toward a waiting vehicle, police said.

One of the girls took chase, caught up and grabbed the wagon, and the would-be robber jumped into the waiting vehicle, police said.

But wait, there’s more.

The girls yelled out that they were being robbed of their cookies, and neighbors responded by getting into their own vehicle to chase the suspects, police said. The neighbors who chased the suspects contacted police along the way.

And police found the suspects’ vehicle at a nearby gas station. The two suspects, 18 and 17, were arrested without incident.
