Josie is a Missouri girl who was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia in 2013. She's been in remission for two years and is still taking chemotherapy.

Last week for her school's "Super Hero Day," Josie went as herself because she's "mommy's superhero," Alyssa Butler told Huffington Post.

"We were going through her closet the night before and she didn’t really have anything with any kind of superhero stuff on it," which is when Butler suggested the idea to Josie.

"She just kind of ran with the idea and she loved it," Butler told HuffPo.

While Halloween might be over, this costume certainly won't be going out of style anytime soon.
