A 13-year-old girl claims she was shackled by her ankle to a beam in the basement of a home in Toledo and held captive there for more than a year. The shocking allegations are detailed in a court document filed in Toledo Municipal Court.

Two men are charged and in custody in Lucas County, Ohio.

Timothy Ciboro, 53, and Esten Ciboro, 27, were arrested early Thursday morning at the home in Toledo.

Court documents show the girl told police she was fed spoiled food and old scraps of food and forced to go to the bathroom in a bucket filled with ammonia.

Police searched the home and found evidence supporting the girl’s claim.

Both men are facing charges of kidnapping and child endangering with specifications of torture, cruelty, abuse and to terrorize and inflict serious physical harm.

They are being held on a $500,000 bond in the Lucas County Jail.
