A little girl was left behind at a Colorado Mexican restaurant and police do not find her parents until about 8 hours later.

Police in Aurora, Colorado took to social media to find the little girl's family afer she was found by herself around 2 p.m. Sunday, KDVR reported.

Finally around 10 p.m. Sunday the parents were found and police were interviewing them.

Police said the girl, who appeared to be about 2 years old, spoke only Spanish, KDVR reported.  She is in the custody of social services.

There is no word on the reason why the little girl was alone.
