Graham, in a social media post, said more than 250 Christian leaders are involved in calling for a "special day of prayer," for the president June 2.

“President Trump’s enemies continue to try everything to destroy him, his family, and the presidency. In the history of our country, no president has been attacked as he has. I believe the only hope for him, and this nation, is God,” Graham said.

Graham also warned that the country is in “a critical time.”

“We’re on the edge of a precipice. Time is short. We need to pray for God to intervene … and guide the president,” he said.

Graham was part of the National Day of Prayer at the White House earlier this month.

He is the son of the late evangelist Billy Graham and the CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the anti-hunger organization Samaritan's Purse.
