12-foot gator found on Florida beach near yacht club

A 12-foot alligator was found on a beach in Indian River County.

Local newspapers report the gator was spotted Sunday night near a yacht club on Vero Beach.

Morrison said Florida rivers are filled with alligators, but it's rare to find one on a beach.

The sheriff's office said the alligator will be relocated.
