A Florida man has died after he and a co-worker became embroiled in a violent fight over how to make gumbo.
Caleb Joshua Halley was stabbed in the abdomen at a Panama City restaurant, Bubba's Seafood Market, by his coworker, Orlando Thompson, 26.
The two were arguing over the correct amount of spice to use in the dish when Thompson armed himself with a wooden board, followed by Halley grabbing a knife. Thompson then grabbed a knife and slashed Halley, police said.
Halley portrayed Osceola onfield at FSU from 2004 to 2007. He died Thursday.
