A Winter Haven man has been accused of stealing more than 4 million pounds of citrus -- worth more than $540,000, according to state officials.
State agriculture officials say Bradley Reiter, who is not a licensed citrus dealer, got contracts with different companies to harvest and haul away oranges and grapefruits. He took off with nearly 50,000 boxes of fruit worth more than a half-million dollars, but never paid for it as agreed, NBC Miami reports.
