At least two coffins floated this weekend at Springfield Cemetery in Orangeburg, S.C., WJBF reported.

The rainfall and water have saturated the ground. The pressure pushes the coffins to the surface.

It isn't only shocking to see the final resting places of the departed disturbed; it can also be a health risk.

The water can spread the chemicals used in embalming, Mashable reported.
