Why didn't he want to remain seated when other passengers were getting their food?

Because, he said, according to the FBI, that he wanted to do yoga and meditate. He also told investigators that he had not slept in 11 days, CNN reported.

At one point, after being offered a space to calm down, he continued to yell and refused to sit in his assigned seat.

Five Marines, along with other passengers, were asked to help restrain Pae and take him to his seat.

Pae has been charged with interference with the performance of a flight crew.
