The nonprofit aquarium did not say which two animals survived.
Workers said they tested the medicine on a fish in a smaller tank and found no problem.
The medicine was needed because a few animals had died from the parasite in recent weeks, an acquarium spokesman said.
“Aquarium exhibits impacted include Islands of Steel, Flower Gardens, and Lionfish,” according to a statement released by the Aquarium. “Fortunately, Living Shores, Nearshore, and Floating Phantoms, as well as a number of smaller exhibits, were not affected. None of the outdoor exhibits such as Tortuga Cay, Stingray Lagoon, or Dolphin Bay were affected.”
